The Tolk Group started supplying electricity to consumers with guarantees of origin

On the 21st of October 2024, Tolk Ukraine took part in the first ever auction for the purchase of Guarantees of Origin for electricity produced from renewable energy sources (GOOs). 

The guarantees of origin, which are transferred to the consumer and "redeemed" in the month of consumption, indicate that the purchased electricity is produced exclusively from renewable sources such as hydro, wind and solar. This underscores the environmental responsibility of both the energy supplier and its consumer, the Ukrainian producer, opening up additional opportunities for cooperation with European partners for whom the eco-component of the origin of goods is essential.

The Tolk Group is systematically working to increase the share of green energy supplied to its customers. Thus, its portfolio has grown significantly in recent years.

Businesses that invest in the purchase of guarantees of origin of electricity will be able to use them within 18 months from the date of production in the relevant volumes. In addition to the benefits of building trust in their brand, companies that consume green energy gain additional competitive advantages, including access to international support programmes that encourage the use of renewable energy sources and grants for the development of green technologies.
