Tolk Group started importing electricity from Europe

The Tolk group of companies was one of the first to start importing electricity from Europe for its industrial consumers in accordance with the concluded contracts. This allows companies to operate at total capacity.

The import of electrical energy for industrial consumers will allow redistribution freed Ukrainian capacities and reduce the imbalance and deficit of electricity generation in Ukraine.

By Resolution No. 1 dated January 3, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved provisions on the specifics of electricity import during the autumn-winter period of 2022/23. This document provides additional guarantees for market participants who import electricity from EU countries.
